How BLE Developer Console accesses, stores, and exchanges information.

1. Summary

BLE Developer Console is provided by Alkesh Jethva, an independent developer operating under the Jethva brand.

The current version requires no account, contains no advertising, behavioral analytics, or cross-app tracking, does not collect location, and does not upload profiles, payloads, or logs to Jethva servers.

2. Information stored locally

The app may store peripheral names, UUIDs, selected properties, timestamps, advertising state, payload text, and activity events locally. Up to 100 recent sent payload records and 100 activity-log entries are retained.

Nearby names, identifiers, RSSI, advertised services, discovered characteristics, connection state, and received values may be processed temporarily while the app runs.

3. Bluetooth communications

Payloads travel directly to or from nearby devices selected or configured by you. Jethva does not control how third-party devices handle received information.

Do not transmit credentials, financial or health information, personal identifiers, or other sensitive content unless you trust the receiving device and its security model.

4. Permissions

Bluetooth and Nearby Devices permissions enable scanning, connecting, advertising, discovery, and value exchange. Some Android versions require Location for BLE scanning; the app does not use it to determine or transmit your location.

5. Data collection and sharing

Locally stored profiles, payloads, and logs are not transmitted to Jethva. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. Apple and Google may independently process store-related information under their own policies.

6. Retention and deletion

Profiles remain until deleted or the app is uninstalled. Logs remain until cleared, displaced by the 100-entry limit, or removed with the app. Delete local data through profile deletion, the Logs screen, Android storage settings, or uninstalling.

7. Security

The app uses operating-system Bluetooth APIs and local application storage. Bluetooth communications may be visible to nearby devices depending on pairing, permissions, and protocol. The app does not independently provide end-to-end encryption for arbitrary payloads.

8. Children, international use, and changes

This technical utility is not directed to children. You are responsible for compliance with local radio, privacy, and consumer laws. This policy may change as functionality or data practices change; the updated date will be revised.
